Holiday Decor -- Budget Amendment
History
A budget amendment is being requested to cover the cost of the one hundred snowflake holiday decorations that were purchased late last year to augment the LaGrange Road corridor light poles throughout the holiday season. Each decoration cost $416 for a one-time cost totaling $41,600 plus an annual storage charge of $3,383 and were purchased from Bright Ideas. At the time the Board authorized the purchase, funds from the Officials budget were used to cover the cost; however a budget adjustment in the amount of $44,983.00 should have been requested at that time.
Folgers Flag and Decorations has now provided a quote for requested additional flag banners also for along LaGrange Road.
35 vented white vinyl flag banners at $82 each = $2870.00
170 stainless steel bands at $3.00 each = $ 510.00
And
65 arms for $18.00 each = $1170.00
A total of $4550.00 for the La Grange Road light poles and appropriate replacement parts is recommended. A budget amendment is also required for this purchase.

I move to approve a budget adjustment of $49,533 for banners to be placed throughout the LaGrange Road corridor.
