Bids were opened on November 12, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in the Village Clerk's Office for the Orland Park Bike Trail. Five bids were received. The low bidder was Matthew Paving, Inc. This money will come from Account 023-4004-451-7070 - $311,750. The estimates that we had budgeted for are two years old and with the cost of oil going up there is the difference in the cost. This extra money will come from the Parks Fund 023-4004-451-70-80. We will not be building the Center School Play Unit this year.
Financial Impact
This money will come from the Park budgeted amount of $311,750 - Account # 023-4004-451-7070 and
$68,927 will come from the Parks Account 023-4004-451-7080.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve Matthew Paving, Inc. for the Orland Park Bike Trail at a cost not to exceed $380.687.
And
To approve authorizing the Acting Village Manager to execute the contract.
