RESOLUTION APPROVING EXECUTION OF A PLAT OF HIGHWAYS AND THE GRANTING OF NECESSARY EASEMENTS WITH RESPECT TO VILLAGE PROPERTY FOR THE WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF 151ST STREET

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park, an Illinois municipal corporation (the “Village”) will be widening, reconstructing and improving 151st Street from West Avenue to Ravinia Avenue (the “Project”) in the Village; and

 

 

WHEREAS, in order to complete the Project, it is necessary to convey and/or dedicate certain lands owned by the Village, generally located at the southwest corner of 151st Street and Ravinia Avenue, for highway purposes and, in addition, grant the temporary construction easements necessary for completion of the Project.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:

 

 

SECTION 1

 

The Village President and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute such Plat of Highways thereby conveying and/or dedicating for highway purposes the property owned by the Village legally described as EXHIBIT “A” attached hereto and made a part hereof.

 

 

SECTION 2

 

The Village President and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the temporary construction easements on the property owned by the Village legally described on EXHIBIT “B” and EXHIBIT “C” attached hereto and made a part hereof.

 

 

SECTION 3

 

The Village President and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver such other instruments and documents as may be necessary and convenient in their sole discretion to effectuate such conveyance and/or dedication as well as the temporary easements herein described to complete the Project.

 

 

 

SECTION 4

 

This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption as provided by law.
