AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORLAND PARK VILLAGE CODE,TITLE 9, CHAPTER 9, SECTION 8, NO PARKING (SOUTH SIDE OF 165TH STREET, LAGRANGE ROAD WEST TO DEAD END) TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON 165TH STREET FROM 97TH AVENUE WEST TO THE DEAD END ONLY;
AND
TO ALLOW PARKING ON BOTH SIDES OF 165TH STREET FROM LAGRANGE ROAD TO 97TH AVENUE

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Illinois.
SECTION 1
PARKING PROHIBITED. No person shall stop or park a vehicle at any time except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of policemen or traffic control devices on the south side of 165th Street from 97th Avenue, to the dead end of 165th Street.
SECTION 2
SIGNS TO BE ERECTED. Appropriate signs shall be erected to inform the public of the restrictions on parking on that portion of 165th Street from 97th Avenue west, to the dead end of 165th Street.
SECTION 3
PENALTIES. Any person who violates any provision of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than Twenty-Five ($25.00) Dollars nor more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars for each offense of which such person shall be convicted.
SECTION 4
REPEAL. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5
EFFECTIVE DATE. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner prescribed by law.
SECTION 6
ADD TO CODE. The provision of this Ordinance shall be added to Title 9 of the Orland Park Village Code.
