Colette Highlands - Park Station Boulevard - Budget Adjustment and Board Approval
History
Evidently, the Village has assumed the costs for the engineering of the detention pond and for the construction of Park Station Boulevard in the Colette Highlands Subdivision. Edmund M. Burke Engineering Corp. (EBE) of Orland Park, Illinois, has submitted an invoice to the Village for $62,042.50 for professional engineering services associated with both projects. Included in this invoice are multiple coordination efforts of EBE with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for the permit approval from IDOT for the construction of Park Station Boulevard onto 159th Street. All the paperwork has been completed and has been submitted to IDOT for issuance of the permit so that work can begin as soon as the asphalt plants open.
On February 11, 2008, this item was reviewed and approved by the Public Works and Engineering Committee and referred to the Board for approval.
Financial Impact
A budget adjustment is needed in the amount of $62,042.50 to Account #054-0000-499.71-25 to pay this invoice.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve payment of $62,042.50 to Edmund Burke Engineering Corporation of Orland Park, Illinois, for professional engineering services for the Colette Highlands Detention Pond and Park Station Boulevard;
And
Approve a budget adjustment of $62,042.50.
