Eugene Matthews, Inc., was one of the companies that picked up the bid specs but did not return them. However, they did submit a quote later that day, stating that they had trouble getting a cost on pre-cast coping. There quote is for $212,770.00 (attached). This project was designed in 2005 and must get repaired soon.

Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve waiving the bid process;
And
To approve Eugene Matthews, Inc. to do the Masonry Repairs Project at the Village Center (Civic Center), at a cost not to exceed $212,770.00;
And
To approve authorizing the Village Manager to execute the contract.
