Centennial Park West Concert Lighting, Sound, Truss, Rigging and Other Rental Equipment Award
History
The Village's new Centennial Park West concert venue will open for use in 2024. The venue will host the Centennial Park West concerts, Fourth of July, Taste of Orland Park, Market at the Park and Movies in the Park.
The new venue includes a 40' x 60' stage, truss system to hang lights and sound equipment, and full electrical capability to handle any concert needs.
The new venue provides new capabilities, as well as rental savings from the permanent stage, band suite and electrical supply, each Artist requires specific sound and lighting requirements as outlined in Artist riders.
Staff issued RFP 24-029 (attached) on February 15, 2024 with a submission deadline of March 4, 2024. The scope identified equipment of equal or greater quality than equipment identified from two Artists' riders. The RFP requested three quotes, one for each anticipated concert date over a three year period including 2024, 2025 & 2026. Two dates per year were identified at a higher equipment need level, and one at a slightly lower end of equipment needs.
The RFP resulted in one submittal (attached) from Vantage Production Group by Sound Works.
