History

Folgers Flag & Decorating, Inc. has been providing the pole decorations on 159^th Street, 151^st Street, 94^th Avenue, Ravinia Avenue and eight poles on Beacon in Old Orland for the holiday season.

Folgers’ contract for the years 2006, 2007 and 2008 holiday season was approved at the October 13, 2006 Board of Trustees meeting. This is the third year of a three year contract. Deposits are due in September, upon installation and final payment upon removal.

Financial Impact

The costs of the pole decorations are $10,480.00, plus $800.00 for pole decorations in Old Orland. This item is included in the FY 2008/09 Special Events budget.

Recommended Action/Motion

I move to approve payment to Folgers Flag & Decorating, Inc. in the amount of $10,480.00 for pole decorations, plus $800.00 for pole decorations in Old Orland.
