104th Avenue - 159th Street to 167th Street Improvements - Board Approval
History
On January 31, 2005, the Village of Orland Park and Cook County entered into an agreement for a Phase I and Phase II Design Engineering Study with McDonough Associates Inc. (MAI) for the road improvement of 104th Avenue from 159th Street to 167th Street. On June 10, 2005, the Board of Trustees authorized the Village Manager to execute the contract for Phase II Engineering for the project. Under Phase II Engineering, the County has requested additional geotechnical analysis, design and soil borings. Cook County will bear 100% (estimated $60,000) of the costs for the additional geotechnical analysis, design and soil borings.
Financial Impact
There are funds in the amount $25,000 available for this project. However, a budget adjustment to Account #054-0000-499.84-80 will be necessary for the remaining $35,000.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve a budget adjustment in the amount of $35, 000,
and
Approve an additional payment of $60,000 to McDonough Associates Inc. for geotechnical analysis, design and soil borings in Phase II of the Reimbursement Agreement between the Village of Orland Park and the County of Cook to be reimbursed by Cook County.
