ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF MUNICIPAL PROPERTY TO VILLAGE OF ROBBINS, ILLINOIS (One Vehicle)

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois (the “Village”) is an Illinois home rule municipality; and

 

WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village has determined that the Village has the below listed vehicle in section 2 that are no longer necessary or useful to the Village; and

 

WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities have determined to donate the said vehicles to the Village of Robbins, Illinois, for its government purposes.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the President and Board of Trustees, Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, in the exercise of the Village’s home rule powers, as follows:

 

SECTION 1

 

The above preambles are hereby incorporated into this Section as fully as if restated in their entirety herein.

 

SECTION 2

 

The donation to Village of Robbins, Illinois, of the following vehicle which is no longer necessary or useful to the Village of Orland Park is hereby approved:

The cost of transporting the van shall be borne by the Village of Robbins, the donee.

 

 

SECTION 3

 

This donation is to be “as is” without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, about the performance ability of the above listed vehicles, its present state of repair, condition or maintenance, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

 

SECTION 4

 

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and approval as provided by law.
