Fertilization and Broadleaf Weed Control - Bid Award
History
Bids were received on March 19, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. in the Village Clerk's Office for the Fertilization and Broadleaf Weed Control. Three (3) bids were received and the low bidder was Trugreen, Inc. This is for a three (3) year contract. The work is to be performed for the Public Works Ponds and Parks areas. The cost is divided into the following: $59,391.00 for Parks and $8,076.00 for Public Works Ponds. These prices are the same for the three (3) years (2009, 2010 and 2011) of the contract. The remaining money may be used for the future Parks and Ponds.
Financial Impact
This money will come from the Park budgeted amount of $65,000.00 (010-4003-451-4350) and the Public Works budgeted amount of $25,000 (031-6007-433-4353).
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve accepting the Bid from Trugreen, Inc. of Crestwood, IL for the Fertilization and Broadleaf Weed Control for the budgeted amounts for the years 2009, 2010 and 2011 budget years as written in the bid specifications;
And
I move to approve authorizing the Village Manager to execute the contract.
