A RESOLUTION APPROVING CONVEYANCES (TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT AGREEMENTS AND PERMANENT UTILITY EASEMENT AGREEMENTS) OF REAL ESTATE TO THE VILLAGE OF OAK LAWN AS PART OF THE REGIONAL WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (1550 WHEELER DRIVE, 15500 BOB-O-LINK ROAD, 15300 80th AVENUE AND 15401 and 15403 82ND AVENUE, AND 8900 THISTLEWOOD LANE)

Body

WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park, a home rule municipal corporation, is the fee owner of the real estate described in GROUP EXHIBIT A attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein and made a part hereof; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Lawn desires to acquire from the Village of Orland Park Temporary Construction Easements and Permanent Utility Easements in and to the real estate, and desire to enter into the Agreements therefor contained in GROUP EXHIBIT A hereto for use of the Village of Oak Lawn, related to the Regional Water System Improvement Projects. Copies of the Easement Agreements for each of the above referenced properties, with their attached easement location exhibits depicting such easements, are attached hereto as GROUP EXHIBIT A. It is the desire of the Village of Orland Park to grant said Easements in furtherance of the Regional Water System Improvement Project; and

WHEREAS, the Village has the authority to enter into the Easement Agreements pursuant to statutory and its home rule authority, and the President and Board of Trustees of the Village find that approving and authorizing execution of the Easement Agreements is in the best interests of the Village and its residents.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, as follows:

SECTION 1

Each of the recitals in the Whereas paragraphs set forth above is incorporated into Section 1 of this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
