Mayor McLaughlin will present Community Pride Awards to the St. Michael Cheerleaders and their coach, Becky Weslow and assistant coaches, Kim Williams and John Powers, in recognition of their being named the National Champions at Jamfest Super Nationals and the ICCA State Cheerleading Champions in Springfield.

They have won ten state titles in 12 years.
