A Resolution Approving and Authorizing the Execution of a Collective Bargaining Agreement Between the Village of Orland Park and Orland Park Police Supervisors Association (OPPSA) 2023-2028

History

The Orland Park Police Supervisors Association (OPPSA) represents the Village’s sworn peace officers in the ranks of sergeant and lieutenant. The most recent collective bargaining agreement expired on April 30, 2023.

Village staff and representatives of OPPSA have negotiated the proposed agreement that will govern this relationship for the period May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2028.

Financial Impact

The new salary schedule for the duration of the agreement can be found in Appendix B.  Annual wage adjustments will occur on May 1^st.

Recommended Action/Motion

I move to adopt a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF ORLAND PARK AND ORLAND PARK POLICE SUPERVISORS ASSOCIATION (OPPSA) 2023-2028.
