EnRoute Annual Maintenance - Maintenance Expenditure
History
The Police Department has included $39,500.00 in the FY 07-08 budget for EnRoute Emergency Systems software maintenance on the police records management server. This maintenance includes annual software updates and support Monday through Friday 8-5 pm on the records files and 24 hours per day, 7 days per week on the redundant dispatch software. If an issue can not be resolved over the telephone the vendor EnRoute offers remote dial-up capability, which enables a programming specialist to communicate directly to the system to resolve any issues quickly.
This maintenance is share and paid by the Orland Joint ETSB for an additional $38,380.50 to cover the same coverage on the Police Dispatch Server.
At the November 12, 2007 Public Safety Committee meeting, the members voted 3-0 to recommend approval.

This expenditure is budgeted for under line item 010-1101-421.43-61 in the amount of $39,500.00
