Financial Impact
This money will come from the Parks Fund 283-4002-451-4310. $175,000.00 was budgeted. The Parks Department bought and installed the gazebo in Wind Haven Park at a cost of $45,980.00, leaving us with $129,020.00. We will have to work with the contractor to remove some amenities to achieve our budgeted cost. All landscaping and some stone work will have to be removed.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve accepting the low bid from The Kenneth Company at a cost not to exceed $221,098.00;
And
To approve letting staff negotiate with the contractor to achieve the budgeted cost of $129,020.00;
And
To approve authorizing the Village Manage to execute the contract.
