ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING RELEASE (ABROGATION) OF EASEMENT (U.S. ARMY MAINTENANCE FACILITY - 15750 S. LAGRANGE ROAD)
Body
WHEREAS, by quit claim deed dated April 26, 1971, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA conveyed certain property at 15750 S. LaGrange Road to the Village, which conveyance included certain non-exclusive easements and rights to use existing access roads, as further described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Village no longer has any use or need for such access roads, and the United States of America has requested that such easements be released (abrogated) so that the property may be sold without the encumbrances of said easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1
The Village President and Village Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute a RELEASE (ABROGATION) OF EASEMENT on behalf of the Village, in substantially the form attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.
SECTION 2
This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage as provided by law.
