AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF ORLAND PARK, ILLINOIS, AND THE ORLAND FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, ORLAND PARK, ILLINOIS, PROVIDING FOR RESPONSIBILITY FOR BUILDING AND FIRE PREVENTION CODES INSPECTION AND ENFORCEMENT

Be It Ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1
This President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park hereby find that it is in the best interests of the Village and its residents and employees that the amendments to the Intergovernmental Agreement Between the Village of Orland Park, Illinois, and the Orland Fire Protection District, Orland Park, Illinois, Providing for Responsibility for Building and Fire Prevention Codes Inspection and Enforcement which is attached hereto as EXHIBIT A be authorized and entered into by the Village of Orland Park.
SECTION 2
That the amendments to the Intergovernmental Agreement between the Village of Orland Park, Illinois, and the Orland Fire Protection District, Orland Park, Illinois, Providing for Responsibility for Building and Fire Prevention Codes Inspection and Enforcement, in the form attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, be and is hereby approved, and the President and Clerk of this Village be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute and enter into said Amended Intergovernmental Agreement on behalf of this Village.
SECTION 3
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval as provided by law.
