ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF MUNICIPAL PROPERTY TO PHEONIX, ILLINOIS (2014 FORD POLICE INTERCEPTOR SEDAN)

 

BODY

WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois (the “Village”) is an Illinois home rule municipality; and

 

 

WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village has determined that the Village’s old 2014 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan is no longer necessary or useful to the Village; and

 

 

WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities have determined to sell the said vehicle to the Village of Phoenix Illinois, for its government purposes.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the President and Board of Trustees, Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, in the exercise of the Village’s home rule powers, as follows:

 

 

SECTION 1

 

The above preambles are hereby incorporated into this Section as fully as if restated in their entirety herein.

 

 

SECTION 2

 

The sale to the Village of Phoenix, Illinois, of the following vehicle which is no longer necessary or useful to the Village of Orland Park for the sale price of $3,800.00 is hereby approved:   One (1) 2014 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan, VIN #1FAHP2MK4EG111743, having approximately 99,279 of mileage.  The cost of transporting the sedan shall be borne by the Village of Phoenix Police Department.

 

 

SECTION 3

 

This sale is to be “as is” without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, about the performance ability of the sedan, its present state of repair, condition or maintenance, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

 

 

 

SECTION 4

 

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and approval as provided by law.
