Professional Services Contracts for Video Production - Approve
History
The 2007/08 Special Events and Marketing budget allows for professional services for video production of Village events and programs. For many years, Gerard Grabowski and Lisa O’Toole have contracted with the Village to provide these professional services.
Gerard Grabowski has submitted a Video Production Proposal for “The Orland Park Village View” for a three year renewal contract renewable in years 2 and 3 at the sole discretion of the village. Professional fees are $850.00 for FY 2007/08; $900.00 for FY 2008/09, and $900.00 for fiscal year 2009/10.
Lisa O’Toole has submitted a Production/Host Proposal for “The Orland Park Village View” for a three year contract renewable in years 2 and 3 at the sole discretion of the village. Professional fees are $500.00 per 30 minute production for FY 2007/08; $550.00 for fiscal year 2008/09; and $550.00 for FY 2009/10.
Upon approval by the Village Board, a purchase order would be created that could be drawn upon, as needed, throughout the year.
ON DECEMBER 10, 2007 THE COMMUNITY EVENTS AND OUTREACH COMMITTEE UNANIMOUSLY RECOMMENDED APPROVAL OF THIS ITEM.
Financial Impact
FY 2007/08 budget includes $10,000.00 for Gerard Grabowski’s services and $7,500.00 for Lisa O’Toole’s services.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve waiving bids and approve a 3 year agreement for the professional services of Gerard Grabowski in an amount not to exceed $10,000 for FY07/08 for video production of Village events and programs.
And
I move to approve a 3 year agreement for the professional services of Lisa O’Toole in an amount not to exceed $7,500 for FY0708 for video production of Village events and programs.
