WHEREAS, on January 19, 2009, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park passed Ordinance No. 4451, which Ordinance contained an erroneous legal description (Parcel D as shown in Ordinance No. 4451 is corrected and shown below as D-1 and D-2);

BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois:

SECTION 1

That this President and Board of Trustees find as follows:

(a) The territory described in Section 2 of this Amended Ordinance contains less than sixty (60) acres and is wholly bounded by the Village of Orland Park.

(b) Such territory is not within the corporate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, a municipality existing under the laws of the State of Illinois.

(c) The Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, does not provide fire protection service, and the territory herein described is not located in a public library district.

(d) Notice that the corporate authorities of the Village of Orland Park are contemplating the annexation of such territory has been published not less than ten (10) days prior to passage of this Amended Ordinance, and, not less than fifteen (15) days before passage of this Ordinance, has been served by certified mail on the taxpayers of record of the proposed annexed territory described below, all as required by Section 7-1-13 of the Illinois Municipal Code (65 ILCS 5/7-1-13).

SECTION 2

That the territory legally described as follows:

PARCEL A

THE SOUTH 165 FEET OF THE WEST 132 FEET OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 36 NORTH, RANGE 12 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

This property is commonly known as 14299 S. Wolf Road.
