Bids were recerived for the Sportsplex Carpet Replacement on February 13, 2008, at 11:00 a.m.  Three companies picked up the bid specs but only one was returned.  Low bidder for the new carpet was Mr. David's Carpet Service, Ltd., of Tinley Park, IL.  Their bid was for $59,997.00.

Financial Impact

The money will come from the Capital Account 283-4007-451-43-10.  $68,000.00 was budgeted.

Recommended Action/Motion

I move to approve accepting the bid from Mr. David's Carpet Service, Ltd. of Tinley Park, IL for the Sportsplex Carpet Replacement, in an amount not to exceed $59,997.00; 

And

I move to approve authorizing the Interim Village Manager to execute the contract.
