History
Michael D. Damico, the Regional Planning Coordinator for the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System (ILEAS) will be presenting the Certificate of Law Enforcement Preparedness to the Mayor on behalf of the police department.
The department's policies, practices, operations, communications, NIMs compliance and other factors were examined by ILEAS to insure our agency's readiness and preparedness to respond to a disaster or attack, to request and accept mutual aid resources and to maintain operations at a local or multi-jurisdictional event.
The Orland Park Police Department is one of only six municipalities in the state to be awarded this certificate in recognition of the preparedness of their police department.
