AN ORDINANCE REPEALING TITLE 7, “BUSINESS AND LICENSE,” CHAPTER 8, “TAXICABS,” OF THE ORLAND PARK VILLAGE CODE

WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park has determined that it no longer wishes to enforce regulations concerning taxicabs, except for those vehicle laws required by the State of Illinois.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1
Title 7, “Business and License,” Chapter 8, “Taxicabs,” be and hereby is repealed.
SECTION 2
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner prescribed by law.
