Paper Products and Domestic Supplies Bid Award
History
Bids were received on November 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., for unit pricing on paper products and domestic supplies used in Village buildings. Eleven bids were received. Expert Chemical & Supply, Inc. was the low total for all the products the Village purchases. We recommend that Expert Chemical & Supply, Inc. be awarded the low three year bid.
On January 17, 2011, this time was reviewed and approved by the Parks, Recreation, and Environmental Initiatives Committee and referred to the Board for approval.
Financial Impact
Funds will come from the Parks fund $1500, Sportsplex fund $12,500, Building Maintenance $33,800, Civic Center $3000, Metra $1000, and Pool $2700 for the budgeted amounts in the 2011 budgets.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve accepting Expert Chemical & Supply, Inc. of Hazel Chest, for paper products and domestic supplies based upon 3 year unit bid pricing as stated in the bid specifications.
And
Authorize the Village Manager to execute the contract.
