HISTORY:
The petitioner for Houlihan’s Restaurant received an Appearance Review approval from Plan Commission in August 2006. On June 4, 2007 they petitioned for another Appearance Review that modifies some of the building materials on the building elevations, and the construction details and materials for the patio. Since the first Appearance Review was a Plan Commission recommendation, the new petition has been brought before Plan Commission for consideration.

The previously granted site plan approval allows the operation of a 6800 square foot restaurant with 292 seats (216 indoor, 76 outdoor) within a previously approved shopping complex, Main Street Village. Houlihan’s Restaurant will be located on Lot 4 of this development along LaGrange Road.

The August 8, 2006 Plan Commission approval included some conditions for approval:

1. That an illustration of the patio fence enclosure is added to the elevations plan;
UPDATE: The revised patio fence enclosure and overhead arbor is shown on attached elevation.

2. That the petitioner adds more windows to all sides of the building to increase the transparency.
UPDATE: Revised elevations were received and approved by staff in September 2006. These are the elevations shown as the approved version in your packets.

3. That the petitioner obtains a liquor license for the restaurant from the Village.
