Title/Name/Summary

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 7, CHAPTER 3, SECTION 7-3-11-3 OF THE ORLAND PARK VILLAGE CODE: RESTRICTIONS - POOL AND BILLARD TABLES

Body

WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park (the “Village”) is a home rule municipality organized under the laws of the State of Illinois; and

 

 

WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have determined that pool and billiard table businesses in the Village should be permitted to hold a Class "C" (sales at retail of beer and wine only) liquor license, subject to the restrictions and limitations hereinafter set forth, and to amend the Orland Park Village Code for such purpose.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:

 

 

 

SECTION 1

 

Section 7-3-11-3 (c) of Title 7, Chapter 3 of the Orland Park Village Code is hereby amended and restated to provide as follows:

 

“7-3-11-3.  RESTRICTIONS.

                                                                                                         

 

(c) No license shall be issued hereunder to an establishment holding other than a Class "C" liquor license.  No Billiard Parlor Operator's licensee holding a Class "C" liquor license shall admit upon the licensed premises a person under the age of twenty-one (21) years unless that person is accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, except that a person of the age of eighteen (18) years or older may be admitted without being accompanied by a parent or legal guardian upon that part of the licensed premises separated from the bar area by a floor to ceiling wall or other appropriate barrier."

 

 

SECTION 2

 

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and approval as provided by law.
