History
Forces, Inc. provides the electricity for the Taste of Orland Park. Forces has done an excellent job each year providing electricity, light towers and generators for the Taste. They know the event, layout and equipment needed to provide the service needed.
Financial Impact
Forces, Inc. will provide electrical service needed for the Taste at the same rates they have charged for the last several years. This includes a 10% discount on actual cost. The cost for the 2010 Taste of Orland Park will be $8,185.60. This item is included in the 2010 Taste budget at $8,091. This year’s amount has a slight increase due to the fact that last year Forces, Inc. billing department missed billing on one section of the vendor area last year.
On July 6, 2010, this item was reviewed and approved by the Community Events & Outreach Committee and referred to the Board for approval.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve authorizing a contract with Forces, Inc. for electricity at the 2010 Taste of Orland Park in the amount not to exceed $8,185.60.
And
Approve authorizing the Village Manager to execute the contract with Forces, Inc.
