AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE APPROVAL OF AN AGREEMENT PERTAINING TO TRAFFIC REGULATION IN THE CRYSTAL TREE SUBDIVISION

 

Body

WHEREAS, Chapter 625, Act 5, Section 11-209.1 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes authorizes a municipality to regulate and control motor vehicle traffic and parking on the private roads and streets in residential subdivisions which contain a minimum of ten (10) apartments or single family dwellings upon request of a representative of such subdivision; and

 

 

WHEREAS, the Crystal Tree Subdivision in Orland Park is a subdivision which has private roads and streets and is made up of a minimum of ten (10) single-family residences; and

 

 

WHEREAS, the Crystal Tree Homeowner's Association which represents the Crystal Tree Subdivision has requested that the Village of Orland Park regulate and control motor vehicle traffic and parking on the private roads and streets of said subdivision.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:

 

 

Section 1

 

The Village President and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the "Agreement Regulating the Control of Motor Vehicle Traffic and Parking in the Crystal Tree Subdivision, Village of Orland Park, Cook County, Illinois," in substantially the same form as is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

 

 

Section 2

 

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to violate any of the parking or traffic regulations of the Village of Orland Park as set forth in the Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

 

 

Section 3

 

The Village Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.

 

 

Section 4

 

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as required by law.
