Centennial Park Aquatic Center 20’ Shade Structure Quote
History
We received a quote for three 20’ Sun Port single posted shade structures from the sole purveyor of this product. The quote from USASHADE & Fabric Structures, Inc. is $15,730.00 for all three. The unit specifications match the structures that currently we have throughout the park. Assembly and installation will be performed by the Parks Department staff.
On March 4, 2103, this item was reviewed and approved by the Recreation & Parks Committee and referred to the Village Board for approval.
Financial Impact
The funds will come from the 2013 Pool Equipment account: 283-4005-460180, $18,000.00 budgeted. The remaining will be used for installation materials.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve waiving the bid process;
and
To accept the quote amount not to exceed $15,730.00 from USA Shade & Fabric Structures, Inc. for the 3 shade structures.
