Holiday displays along Ravinia Avenue, Centennial Park and LaGrange Road pole decorations have been purchased from Bright Ideas, Inc. of New Lenox, Illinois. One of the displays at Centennial Park is old and worn out and needs to be replaced.
A larger and brighter animated train has been chosen to replace the display at the end of Fun Drive near the skating rink. Cost of the display is $10,866.00 and shipping is $483.00.
Financial Impact
These expenses can be accommodated in the Special Events and Marketing budget for holiday displays.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve payment to Bright Ideas, Inc. for the purchase and shipping of the animated train display at Centennial Park. in an amount not to exceed $11,349.00.
