ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING RELEASE (ABROGATION) OF TRANSIT AND PUBLIC ACCESS EASEMENTS (LOTS 6, 7, 8 AND 9 IN GLEN OAK INDUSTRIAL PARK)

WHEREAS, by Plat of Subdivision for Glen Oak Industrial Park, there was reserved and granted to the Village transit and public access easements over, upon and across the following described property, to wit:
THE EAST 15.00 FEET OF 6, THE SOUTH 5.00 FEET AND THE EAST 15.00 FEET OF LOT 7, THE NORTH 5.00 FEET AND THE EAST 15.00 FEET OF LOT 8 AND THE EAST 15.00 FEET OF LOT 9 IN GLEN OAK INDUSTRIAL PARK, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE WEST HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 36 NORTH, RANGE 12 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO DOCUMENT NO. 89518779, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS in said subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the owner(s) of said Lots 6, 7, 8 and 9 in said subdivision has requested the Village to release or abrogate said easement as it affects said Lots 6, 7, 8 and 9, and it has been determined by the Village staff that the Village has no facilities located within said easement, and it is anticipated that the Village will have no future need for said easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1
The Release (Abrogation) of Easement in the form of the Plat of Abrogation attached hereto as Exhibit 1 is hereby approved, and the Village President and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the Village.
SECTION 2
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by law.
