ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF VILLAGE MONUMENT SIGN EASEMENT (WALGREEN’S)

Body

WHEREAS, the LaGrange Road road widening and improvement project now being undertaken by the Illinois Department of Transportation necessitates the relocation of the Village monument sign at 147th Street and LaGrange Road; and

WHEREAS, the owner of the parcel at the northwest corner of 147th Street and LaGrange Road (Walgreen’s Pharmacy is the tenant at that location) and Walgreen’s have consented to a relocation of the sign on the site more fully described in the Village Monument Sign Easement Agreement attached hereto and incorporated herein and have granted the Village an easement for such purpose.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:

SECTION 1

The Village Monument Sign Easement Agreement attached hereto is approved, and the Village President and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign said Easement Agreement on behalf of the Village.

SECTION 2

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption as provided by law.
