The Illinois Policy Institute (IPI) Award - Presentation Citizens Information Center aka Transparancy Corner

History

A representative from the Illinois Policy Institute will be presenting an award to The Village of Orland Park for being the first municipality in the State of Illinois to receive a score of 100% for meeting all the criteria that the transparency rubric score requires.

In August, the Village unveiled the Citizens information Corner on its website.  An audit was then conducted by the IPI that scored the Village on each of the attributes on their "Ten Point Transparency Checklist".  The Village met and exceeded all the requirements.

This award is in recognition of the Village’s efforts towards achieving the highest level of public transparency.
