Intergovernmental Affairs Consultants - Annual Renewals
History
The Village employs both William M. Filan and Smith Dawson and Andrews, Inc to provide intergovernmental affairs assistance at the state and federal levels respectively. In 2015, with each consultant the Village entered into a one year agreement with automatic annual contract renewals. The agreement with William M. Filan is for $3,000.00 per month. The agreement with Smith Dawson and Andrews Inc. is for $3,333.33 per month.
Staff seeks authorization to continue these services in 2017 and to renew annually thereafter.
Financial Impact
$76,000.00 will be charged to 010-0000-432850.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve the Village Manager to automatically renew an agreement with William Filan of Chicago, IL in the amount of $36,000.00 and an agreement with Smith Dawson and Andrews, Inc. of Washington D.C. in the amount of $40,000 to provide intergovernmental affairs services.
