Dog Park Construction Bid Award
History
Three (3) bids were received Monday, May 13, 2013 for construction of "The Dogout" dog park in Centennial Park. The bid includes grading and excavation, concrete and decomposed granite walks, fencing, and synthetic turf. Low bidder is The Kenneth Company of Lemont at $121,150. The results are as follows:

This agenda item is being considered by the Recreation and Parks Committee and the Village Board of Trustess on the same night.
Financial Impact
The funds will come from the Capital Land and Land Improvement account 023-0000-470700, $200,000 budgeted. Orland Township has pledge to share up to $100,000 of the cost.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to recommend to the Village Board to approve accepting the low bid from The Kenneth Company at an amount not to exceed $121,150 for the dog park construction.
