ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF UNUSABLE MUNICIPAL PROPERTY AS SCRAP (COPIER)

Body

WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois (the “Village”) is an Illinois home rule municipality; and 

 

WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village have determined that the item of the copier described in Section 2, below, is no longer necessary or useful to the Village as the same and is irreparable; and

 

WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities have determined to discard as scrap the said copier.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the President and Board of Trustees, Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, in the exercise of the Village’s home rule powers, as follows:

 

SECTION 1

 

The above preambles are hereby incorporated into this Section as fully as if restated in their entirety herein.

 

SECTION 2

 

The disposal as scrap of the following equipment which is no longer necessary or useful to the Village of Orland Park is hereby approved:  

 

a)  One (1) Konica 7075 copier with hole-puncher purchased in 2002 and deemed no longer economically repairable.

 

SECTION 3

 

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and approval as provided by law.
