ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF REAL ESTATE (OUTLOT “A” IN PARKVIEW ESTATES - SOUTHEAST CORNER OF 179TH STREET AND WOLF ROAD)
Body
WHEREAS, the parcel of real estate (the “Subject Real Estate”) legally described in EXHIBIT A and depicted in EXHIBIT B, both of which exhibits are attached hereto and made a part hereof, was included as a part of the Parkview Subdivision in the Village and was to serve as an access collector street and, additionally, two (2) stormwater detention ponds; and


WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1309 adopted May 20, 2013, the Village acquired the Subject Real Estate pursuant to the Cook County “No Cash Bid” program because the previous owner/developer, GLENBROOK DEVELOPMENT OF ORLAND PARK, L.L.C., was dissolved by the Illinois Secretary of State, and the real estate taxes for the years 2000 through and including 2012 were never paid; and


WHEREAS, the Village received a “Third Party Request” from ORLAND PARK LOT A ACQUISITION, LLC (the “Third Party Requestor”) to acquire the Subject Real Estate from the Village, for development of the Subject Real Estate and the adjacent commercial sites served by the access collector street and detention ponds; and


WHEREAS, the Third Party Requestor has reimbursed the Village in the amount of $14,169.39 for the legal fees and related costs incurred by the Village in acquiring the Subject Real Estate and now has directed the Village to convey the Subject Real Estate to PARKVIEW PLAZA OWNERS ASSOCIATION, an Illinois not-for-profit corporation (the “Grantee”).


NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Village President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:


SECTION 1

The Village President and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the deed of conveyance and all other documents legally required to convey the Subject Real Estate to the Third Party Requestor or its nominee, the Grantee.
