AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 8 CHAPTER 6 OF THE ORLAND PARK MUNICIPAL CODE, REGARDING THE OFFENSE OF RETAIL THEFT IN THE VILLAGE OF ORLAND PARK, COOK AND WILL COUNTIES, ILLINOIS

Body

Be It Ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:

SECTION 1

Title 8, Chapter 6, Section 8-6-5-17(B)(5) of the Orland Park Municipal Code is hereby amended to read in its entirety as follows:

(5)  The full retail value of the property in question under either subsection (1), (2), (3) or (4) above is less than ONE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($100.00).

SECTION 2

All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed insofar as they conflict herewith.

SECTION 3

This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
