Traffic Signal Installation - 171st Street and 88th Avenue - Approval
History
In 1995, the Cook County Highway Department proposed installation of a permanent traffic signal at 171st Street and 88th Avenue. A Resolution (Number 9506) was passed by the Board of Trustees authorizing the execution of the Agreement between the County and the Village for the Village’s share of the construction, maintenance and electrical cost which amounts to $10,088.35 or 12.5%.
The County is just now invoicing the Village for this work.
On August 11, 2008, this item was reviewed and approved by the Public Works and Engineering Committee and referred to the Board for approval.
Financial Impact
A budget adjustment of $10,088.35 to Line Item 054-0000-499.84-80 will be needed.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve a budget adjustment for the Village’s share of the installation of a permanent traffic signal at 171st Street and 88th Avenue for $10,088.35;
And
Approve authorizing payment to the Cook County Highway Department in the amount of $10,088.35.
