ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING GRANT OF PERMANENT EASEMENT TO NORTHERN ILLINOIS GAS COMPANY, D/B/A NICOR GAS COMPANY (14700 S. RAVINIA AVENUE)

WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park, an Illinois municipal corporation, is the fee owner of the following described property to-wit: 14700 S. Ravinia Avenue, Orland Park, Illinois, and more fully described as follows:
See Legal Description (EXHIBIT “A” accompanying the Grant of Easement attached hereto as EXHIBIT “1”);
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for Northern Illinois Gas Company to place natural gas transmission facilities (mains) on the above-described premises. It is the desire of the Village of Orland Park to grant and convey a permanent easement to Northern Illinois Gas Company, d/b/a Nicor Gas Company, in the form attached hereto as EXHIBIT “1”.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, that the Village President and Village Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the permanent grant of easement in substantially the same form attached hereto as EXHIBIT “1”, and they are hereby further authorized and directed to execute and deliver such other instruments as may be necessary or convenient to consummate the granting of such permanent grant of easement.
