We have received a quote (attached), for the installation of a camera system at all three( 3) Metra Train Stations. In the past year we have been vandalized numerous times costing the village repairs over and over again. The company that we use throughout the village is Low Voltage Systems. The quote for the installation of a camera system at all three (3) Metra Train Stations is $6,745.00. Due to excessive incidents with damage to these facilities in a very short period of time, these cameras were installed immediately.
Financial Impact
This money will come from the Metra Budget 026-0000-498-4280. A $6,745.00 budget adjustment is needed.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve amending the budget in the amount of $6,745.00;
And
I move to approve payment to Low Voltage Systems for the installation of a camera system at all three (3) Metra Train Stations at a cost not to exceed $6,745.00.
