ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF RETENTION POND ACCESS (INGRESS/EGRESS) EASEMENT (GRASSLANDS)

WHEREAS, Gallagher and Henry, the beneficial owner of the property described in the attached Access (Ingress/Egress) Easement (the “Easement”) have deeded to the Village the Grasslands Regional Flood Control Facility (the “Retention Pond”) legally described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, in order to have access to the Retention Pond for future repair and maintenance, it is necessary for the Village to have an access easement adjacent to the Retention Pond, and such an easement has been granted to the Village, a true and correct copy of which is attached hereto as EXHIBIT B and made a part hereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1:
The ACCESS (INGRESS/EGRESS) EASEMENT attached hereto is approved, and the Village President and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign said Easement on behalf of the Village, as Grantee.
SECTION 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption as provided by law.
