History
The Mayor’s Cup Golf Outing benefitting Open Lands of Orland Park was held at Silver Lake Country Club on September 13, 2016. The 127 golfers enjoyed perfect weather conditions playing 18 holes of golf.

Also new in 2016, was the addition of new technology to electronically process credit cards onsite for golf registration, as well as super card, wine pull, and dinner sales.
The Open Lands Commission revealed the design of their new Nature Center concept to those in attendance. Finally, the Open Lands Commission donated (4) rain barrels decorated by a local children’s organization as a door prize to four lucky winners.
Overall, the 2016 Mayor’s Cup Golf Outing generated $16,499.07 in revenues for Open Lands of Orland Park.
