Traffic on 145th Street

History

Mrs. Kanagy would like to discuss speeding vehicles on 145th Street

A discussion was held which included, speeding on the street, the traffic study of September 2009, cut through traffic caused by trains blocking West Avenue, volume of traffic and various traffic devices.

Trustee O'Halloran recommended the matter be reviewed by the Parking and Traffic Advisory Board to see what they might recommend to address this issue. 

On May 17, 2010, this item was reviewed and referred to the Parking and Traffic Advisory Board for an additional study and action.

At the June 3, 2010 meeting it was recommended this item be continued for further study.

At the August 5, 2010 meeting it was recommended this item be contined for further study and will  be on the October 7, 2010 agenda.
