History

We have received a quote for the new Baseball Field Lighting at Centennial Fields #8 and #9.  The quote is from Musco Lighting of West Chicago.  We have these fixtures throughout Centennial Park.  The cost for the Pre-cast concrete bases,  Galvanized steel poles, UL Listed remote electrical component enclosures, Pole length wire harness and Factory-aimed and assembled luminaries is $94,717.  We budgeted $150,000 and the remaining money will be used to install and run new electrical to them.  This work will be done by the Building Maintenance Department.

Financial Impact

This money will come from the budget proposed 2008 Capital Spending Fund 023-4004-451-7070.

Recommended Action/Motion

I move to approve waiving the bid process;

And

I move to approve accepting the quote from Musco Lighting of West Chicago in an amount not to exceed $94,717.
