Orland Park Arts Commission - Community Messiah
History
Bette Schieber, member of the Orland Park Arts Commission, presented a proposal for a performance of a "Community Messiah" to be held at the Sandburg Performing Arts Center on December 2, 2007.
Attached is a breakdown of costs already identified for the event. There is approximately $6,000 in costs associated with the musicians, soloists and conductor. In addition, there are costs to produce programs, tickets, advertising and rental of Carl Sandburg's Arts Center.
This item was included in the Arts Commission budget submittal. It should largely be a pass-through for costs with ticket sales.
Financial Impact
010-8500-464.32-80 -- $9,000 with a $1,000 contingency.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve an agreement and the costs associated with the Community Messiah Sing Along.
