History

Two years ago the Village of Orland Park became a Commemorative Partner for the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration 50^th Anniversary to be held 2015 - 2017.  During each of those years, we are to hold at least two events to thank and honor veterans of the Vietnam War, including personnel who were held as prisoners of war or listed as missing in action, for their service and sacrifice on behalf of the United States and to thank and honor the families of these veterans.

Mayor McLaughlin will announce the Commemoration events planned for 2015.
