Pool Heaters for Chemical Rooms Quotes

History

We have quotes from three venders for the two heaters needed in the chemical rooms at the Centennial Park Aquatic Center. The current heaters deteriorated due to exposure to the chemicals used at the pool. The new heaters are stainless steel with a protective coating. Quotes received are as follows: Englewood Electric - $2,620 each, G.W. Berkheimer - $3,149 each, and Grainger - $5,208 each.

On January 7, 2013 this item was reviewed and approved by the Recreation & Parks Committee and referred to the Village Board for approval.

Financial Impact

The funds will come from the 2013 Pool Machinery & Equipment  line item 283-4005-443200, $15,000.00 budgeted.

Recommended Action/Motion

I move to approve accepting the quote amount not to exceed $5,240.00 from Englewood Electrical Supply for the 2 heaters.
