Title

ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE AND EXECUTION OF GRANT OF PUBLIC UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT AND PAYMENT OF COMPENSATION THEREFOR (VILLA D’ESTE STORMWATER PROJECT)

Body

WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park has authorized a stormwater management and control project within the Villa D’Este subdivision to alleviate stormwater flooding within this residential subdivision; and

WHEREAS, in order to accomplish the work involving the construction and installation of a thirty-six inch (36”) diameter below-ground storm sewer and ground-level manhole structure, a public utility and drainage easement must be obtained from the owner(s) of the property at 8356 138^th Place, Orland Park, Illinois; and

WHEREAS, the Village has agreed to compensate the property owner(s) in the amount of $4,757.50 for the granting of the public utility and drainage easement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:

SECTION 1

The Village President and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the Village, one (1) public utility and drainage easement,  a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as EXHIBIT “A”, with respect to the property at 8356 138^th Place, Orland Park, Illinois.

SECTION 2

The Village Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to pay the grantor(s) of such easement the total amount of $4,757.50 as compensation for said easement.

SECTION 3

This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage as provided by law.
